Nomination Terms and Conditions

By submitting a nomination to Good Deeds, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1) Eligibility:

  • Nominations are open to individuals, places, or community spaces located within the greater Dublin area.

  • Nominators must provide accurate location information.

  • Nominators must have obtained necessary permissions to submit photos and location details.

2) Nomination Process:

  • Nominations must be submitted through the designated online form or other specified method.

  • Nominations must include detailed information about the nominated individual, place, or community space, outlining the need for assistance.

  • Nominations must include clear and accurate photographs of the location requiring assistance.

  • Nominators must supply the location of the place that needs help.

  • Nominations can be for overgrown gardens, dirty driveways, community centers, and similar locations that require cleaning or tidying.

3) Selection Process:

  • Good Deeds will select recipients based on criteria determined at its sole discretion, which may include:

    • The level of need.

    • The potential impact of the assistance.

    • The suitability of the project.

    • The location of the project.

  • Good Deeds’ decision is final.

  • Good Deeds is not obligated to provide feedback on individual nominations.

4) Assistance Provisions:

  • The scope of assistance will be determined by Good Deeds.

  • Good Deeds will make all decisions regarding the provision of assistance.

  • The recipient agrees to allow Good Deeds and its team access to the property or location for the provision of assistance.

  • The recipient agrees to allow Good Deeds to take photos and videos of the location before, during, and after the project.

5) Publicity and Media:

  • In order to raise awareness and advance our mission, the recipient agrees to allow Good Deeds to use photographs, videos, and other media related to the assistance for promotional purposes, including but not limited to:

    • Website and social media.

    • Marketing materials.

    • Participation in media appearance is at the discretion of the recipient.

6) Data Privacy:

  • Good Deeds is committed to protecting your privacy.

  • All personal information provided during the nomination process will be used solely for the purpose of evaluating and managing the Good Deeds project.

  • Your data will not be shared with any third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

  • Data will be stored securely.

  • Data will be deleted after a reasonable time period, after the completion of the project.

7) Liability:

  • Good Deeds is not liable for any damage or injury that may occur during the assistance process, except in cases of gross negligence.

8) Changes to Terms and Conditions:

  • Good Deeds reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.

  • Any changes will be posted on the Good Deeds website or communicated to nominators.

9) Governing Law:

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law.
